Thought I would update the forum on progress as I have nearly completed my restoration (95%) of what was a neglected T350C. An early one built in Jan 2003. Only just done 19,900 miles.

Always lusted after one but couldn't afford to buy a 'ready' one. After already restoring a Chimaera 400 and semi-restored a Cerbera 4.2 I sold the Cerbera (still miss that one) and started a one year project. As usual project went well over time and certainly over budget.

Still not sure on the colour and wheels but at least its spotless now.

I have completed a million things but the major events are......

Engine rebuild, interior carpets, CF pedal box, full colour change respray, new uprated brakes, GGP suspension, Act CF airbox, fuel tank, uprated fuel pumps and wiring, wheels, tyres, geo, sports exhaust backbox and cats (still desperately looking for new centre sections), every single nut and bolt, wiper system, radiator, starter, alternator, AP clutch, clutch master and slave, braided brake lines, all new coolant system, all coolant pipes, droplinks, belts, all door/boot seals etc etc etc. Everything removed and overhauled. The list is literally endless just like my credit card statements.

I finally ran the engine in just before the salt spreaders came out. Sitting in the garage now waiting for the roads to clear.

Just need to recommission the aircon system and fix a little leak on the gearbox. Diff could do with a painting too but not looking forward to that one.

I'm hoping to finally get out to some meets this year. Owned TVR's for over 13 years and never been to one. I'm based in the NW (Wirral) so give me a wave if you see me out and about. wavey

Colour and wheels are spot on in my opinion !

If you ever want to sell, let me know. I have a Tamora currently, but a 350 is still on the list. That looks lovely, good work Sir biggrin

Thanks all for the thumbs up.

John, as soon as gearbox leak sorted and if I can source a sports exhaust centre section I’ll send a pm. Will be nice to get out in it properly after all this time. I’m based in Wallasey so only up the road. I’ll keep an eye out for you.

Cheers

Hi Gazza,

It's Rebel Blue, Volvo colour. The shade seems to change in differing light. If you Google the colour it should give you an idea.

Thanks for that. Really want a pearlescent or metallic tbh but they all seem to be standard.
Keep looking at the Focus RS, Lamborghinis (sounds more exotic lol) & BMW M4 which would keep with the BMW Montreal Blue theme it is already.
Love the pale blue look as they do look better in a bright colour and keeping blue hopefully my dark blue roof with dark blue & butterscotch leather will still go
