Evening, at the risk of asking a question that there seems to have been multiple answers to over very many years. But considering how technology moves on maybe there is a more definitive answer as to be honest I am just a little confused, what oil should I be putting in my 2.9 cologne ? confused

I use Valvoline VR1 20/50 oil in mine, but I know that others use different brands

Valvoline VR1 20/50. Around 30 quid for 5 liters. You can spend twice as much if you want but the Valvoline does the job.

Another vote for Valvoline VR1 20w50 mineral oil here for my S's. I have used it every year for 7 years now.

I like Millers Classic 20/50 . As my car does not have CATs I can use a high ZDDP content to protect the engine over the long term. (It is a relatively modern mineral oil despite the words Veteran & Vintage!)
