Hi all. As per the title i'm about to fit my new door and roof seals and wondered if anyone can post some pictures of how theirs are fitted, particularly around the door/rear quarter/roof area where these three meet and the seals overlap and fit into the pre-moulded end sections please. My car seemed to be fine, but as ever it's worth checking that mine was done right to begin with, as I've no idea if they were the original seals or not.

I'm aware of the need to pinch the door seal in two places lower down to allow water to drain out, so I've got that point in hand.

If anyone can show me their top window seal too I'd appreciate it, how and where the ends are finished (mine were flapping in the breeze so I've little idea where they started) and how it sits against the roof seal either end when the window is open and closed.

Thanks in advance, just wanna make sure I get them right.

Mike

Awkward thing to take a picture of. If this isn’t want you want I’ll try again.

Have no idea why they’re the wrong way up and don’t know how to fix it, sorry.

No problem, thanks Sonic, thank goodness for monitors that rotate haha. That's ace for the top corners, thank you.

Any chance you could do one of where the roof seal overlaps/meets the door seal, with the door open and closed? That's the final piece of my puzzle than.

Thanks again,

Mike

Hi Mike,

I can’t do it until tomorrow (Saturday) evening. Sorry. Up to my eyeballs in work.

Ok, this is tricky to photograph so I’ve tried every angle I can think of. Makes my roof look in terrible condition...

Cheers Sonic, that's mega ! Your roof looks fine bud, looks like 99% of all the others I've seen over the years so wouldn't worry as long as it's nice and watertight
