Ok then

Attempted to add a little humour to the problem

Worth checking the wiring harness from door to ecu. The rubber can get mangled overtime or it just rots...
I always assume any original rubber on the car IS rotten biggrin

I spoke to Python racing who repaired the ecu and I think the guy said he was replacing the processor .It's back in the car and all is working as it should, good guys to deal with.So if any body else has a problem with there widow not working try swapping the ecu's over first.
