Morning All - I wondered if anyone had a recommendation for the most suitable tyres to run over the coming few months?

Best tyres - I can't find winters / all season for the front tyre size of 225/35/18. Would probably be some in 225/40 if that works for you, and the rear size is common.

But if you get a set of 16" spiders as winter wheels, you can fit Michelin Alpin 6 in the right 225/50/16 profile.

That would make the T350 a competent car in winter conditions tank

I find the Goodyear F1 Eagles perfectly OK for all-year driving. The only problem is when they are cold (when you first start a winter journey) the rubber is obviously hard so delicate throttle control is required until they warm up.

It's a fine plan.

18" wheels with Eagle F1 for 8 or 9 months of the year.

16" wheels with winter tyres for the rest.

If you really want the most suitable tyres.

You can keep the track tyres (wet and dry sets) on different wheels that are lighter / stronger than the Spiders.

Just the 4 sets should cover it! biggrin
