DB9 Wiper Blades
Discussion
I've tried:
Bosch SP20S + SP24S (both driver/passenger are spoilered)
Alca Super Flat 20" + 24" (http://goo.gl/y2rNH)
Valeo R51 + R60
All fit perfectly onto the standard '05 DB9 wiper arms.
None are quite as effective as the standard blades. The Bosch SP20S/SP24S are the best out of this bunch and I have them fitted currently but there's not much pressure evenly distributed so whilst it doesn't miss whole sections (like the other wipers in the list), it doesn't seem overly effective at general water clearing.

need a set of wipers for a 2006 vantage v8, they are quite regular and probably the original AM ones that are on the car at the moment.
They are bog standard wipers and i wonder if the valeo R51 and R60 mentioned earlier will fit on the wiper arms ?
any help is appreciated. How much are the AM originals maybe not even worth buying aftermarket ?
thanks

I just replaced my original AM blades with Bosch SP20S + SP24S (with spoilers) and have no issues with them, full clean wipe each time. Would of preferred aero style but seems there aren't really any suitable currently. They are bog standard wipers and i wonder if the valeo R51 and R60 mentioned earlier will fit on the wiper arms ?

I think it was more just to try and get the modern "aero" look rather than just trying to find a cheaper alternative.thanks

Gentlemen,
the quest for replacing the OE wiper blades of my DB9 Volante (MY2007) with more "modern" ones is still on.
Their "official" size reportedly being 24" (60,96 cm.) and 20" (50,8 cm.) respectively, anybody can tell me if a set of 60(cm)-53(cm) would work properly, once fitted in (it goes without saying that the available alternative 60-48 would not pose any problem!)
Thanks in advance for assistance

Dear PH friends, Gentlemen,
only to inform you that the new and "aerodynamic" (modern-style) wiper blades - by SWF, a reputed German maker (now owned by the French Valeo) - namely Visioflex, are now available, mainly on the German market (I purchased them through Amazon.de): the two blades set (number 119763), for Renault Laguna 2 (01.01 ->), 600/500 mm., perfectly suits the DB9 lock system (2).
I look forward the winter time to report about performance, the difference with the Bosch Aerotwin being evidenced in the following

let's hope that the Bosch "deficiency" has been overcome.
Please PM for more information.

I'm sending the Aerotwins back and bought these:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002QQUAKQ/ref=pe_38572... £3.70 - 20"
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00576QT5C/ref=pe_38572... £7 - 24" with spoiler
They look similar to what is already on it and have the springy metal bits behind the rubber.
As an aside Ive tried these new (to me) German brand for the DD 535d http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B009LOC6K8/ref=pe_38572...
I put GTechnic hydrophobic coating on the DD but it doesn't really play nicely with the wipers (very smeary) and I prefer the standard sheeting effect at low speed or in drizzle compared to the beading (harder to see through beads...). I tried the Car Pro coating on the Rapide but similar thoughts really.
Will report back any groundbreaking results in this smeary area!
