Darryl - yes I have 1024 thanks.

Ken - wow thanks for the link and info for 846 which I need - how did you get on today?

Ian - yes I have 1348, at the moment it's the 9th last V12V I have (4th last UK car)!
Was at HWM last week having summer wheels refitted and saw its twin sister. Was 1354 or 1356 I think (should have taken a picture), also Ceramic Grey.

Have now decided I definitely want a Tungsten V12V - which doesn't give me much choice at the moment.

Paul, thanks for your comment - were you referring to the Tungsten car or the recently listed Meteorite V12V that I included the link for in my last posting?

In case of interest, while looking for a car in the last few weeks, I created a table of cars for sale - it suggests that the Private Meteorite car is well priced, given the year and mileage, but the Private Tungsten car is in dealer price territory, once you take inspection, warranty and sorting out the cosmetics into account?
Unsurprisingly the McGurk car sold within 24 hours of being listed a couple of days ago.

Hi Phil,

You mentioned that you have 15 Tungsten cars on your register - any chance of a breakdown by year, and did you collect any mileage/number of owners stats?

Regards,
Ken

I decided I prefer Tungsten to Meteorite, so didn't actually view the other car.

I did find out a few things that go some way to explaining the asking price
- 2 new rear tyres needed
- front splitter cracked on both sides
- missing April 2016 service stamp when bought from Maranello Egham by 2nd owner - possibly serviced by the Ferrari dealer and book not stamped?

Taking the above into account, price seems about right, and will suit someone looking for a low mileage, late reg, Meteorite V12V.

Wow, quite surprised how bad that car sounds and how anyone can let such a fantastic car get into such a state.
It makes mine sound like it's worth £90k easy lol

Glad you found the list useful I sent you Ken - good luck!

I've managed to add around a dozen new cars to the register in the last 6 weeks, which is good going given I now have 664 cars listed! The latest addition is a carbon black currently for sale at AM Munich - an EU advert where the seller actually states the last 4 vin! Let's hope that trend continues in Europe.

Has anyone actually seen/have details of the rare spec LHD car at Works? This spec is certainly unique AFAIK but still need the vin to add to my Register.

Hi!

I've got a Ceramic Grey, 2013, V12V with a chassis number ending in 1080.

I don't know whether you've got this one in the register yet?

I'd be interested to know where this comes in the production run.

Hi Jim, I actually don't have your car on my Register! I know it was delivered new from Works but that's all.
Could you possibly email me through link on my profile so that I can send you my car's Register entry - this will then give you an idea of what I need for yours biggrin
Cheers, Phil

Hi Phil,

I bought the Tungsten V12V and took delivery at midday on Friday, with registration V12 VMV now fitted.
I picked my new car up at Aston Works to avoid the bank holiday traffic around London - while there, I had a quick look at the LHD car which was parked near the door, and think the chassis number ends in 860. The car has tinted windows, and it was virtually impossible to see inside it in the bright sunlight.

Having spent some time reading the manual and driving about 80 miles, I have a few questions
- does the car come standard with a battery charger/conditioner?
- I received a glass key and a standard key - should there also be an emergency key?
- under relatively hard acceleration the back seems quite 'twitchy' - is this normal or could it be due to the different spec Pirelli tyres fitted on the left and right rear that I mentioned previously (tyre pressure is 36PSI all round as per manual)?

If anyone needs car storage south of the M25 in the future, I can highly recommend Jordans near Horsham, where the car that I bought was stored in between weekend drives by its previous owners. I found the owner, Marc (01403 822336 www.jordanscarstorage.com) to be very open, helpful and professional, with spacious, clean and secure facilities housing some very nice cars.

Regards,
Ken

Hello Ken
I picked up a nearly new V12VS from Wilmslow.

Part of the deal was for them to provide a charger / conditioner as not standard. Plugs in the boot behind the removable side panel.

I didn't get an emergency key either and await a reply on why. Clearly mentioned in the handbook for emergency use in the event of a flat battery for example.

Enjoy the driving!!

Hi Ken, congrats on your purchase! Hope you enjoy the beast biggrin

And thanks for identifying the works car..... I had asked for last four vin but was still waiting. It is S00860. It's on my Register but was missing some interior info which I've got off their advert, so the record now complete. An oddity maybe, being a LHD German spec car (the user manual is in German), but supplied from AM Mayfair in London.

With regards to your questions, I don't think the battery conditioner is standard. Mine has one. I think they are quite expensive to get from a main dealer.
Yes, your car should have an emergency key. Not sure where mine is now lol!
These cars are twitchy, which adds to the fun, however, the tyres would be better matching and maybe an alignment check, just to make sure everything is as it should be.

Feel free to ask anything else, and enjoy!
Phil

Please get the tyres changed!! Risky. 500bhp and a few square inches of contact patch at each corner - the tyres are the most critical component in the car - nothing works, including brakes, without them. I assume the dealer has a great lawyer in selling something so flawed (safety wise).

I'm surprised how UK dealers in general are unaware of tyre issues - I just had to convince the 'specialist' dealer that sold me mine that 5 year old Corsa's are not fine even if they have tread. Showed him the date stamp on the sidewall.

When I was 18 I ran my mini 850 with the cheapest remoulded tyres I could find. Not now.
