Hi Kev - thanks for your request for info off the Register, specifically, Quantum Silver, B&O, lightweight seats.

My Register has 805 cars (67%) listed at the moment from a total of 1199.

Of these 805 cars, 46 are UK Quantum Silver cars.

The split of these 46 for B&O is:-

B&O - 6
Premium Audio - 31
160w standard - 1
Unknown - 8

The split of these 46 for Lightweight seats is:-

Lightweight - 12 (5 alcantara inserts, 7 full leather)
Heated Sports Seats - 26 (both types)
Unknown - 8

So, how many UK Quantum with B&O and Lightweights?

The answer is 4 !

All these have been last sold through AMMD as follows:-

October 2012
September 2013
June 2014
September 2017

Just to add, of the 394 cars i still need to find, 10 of these are UK Quantum Silver cars!

So averaging all this out, the Quantum cars i've still to find out seat/audio options, there may be another 2....

Good luck and hope this was useful to you!

Phil, many thanks for looking that up. Mine was the last entry (Sept 17). Are the other three owners on here? If so, speak up :-)

So since I started keeping a note of sales six months ago (beginning of August, main dealer only) 21 cars have come onto the market with 5 now currently available. The split on colours has been –

Carbon Black – 3 off
Hammerhead Silver – 1 off
Lightening Silver – 2 off
Meteorite Silver – 1 off
Onyx Black – 2 off
Quantum Silver – 3 off
Satin Blue – 1 off
Storm Black – 3 off
Stratus White – 4 off
Tungsten Silver – 1 off

Off those 21 cars only 3 had lightweight seats and only 2 came with B&O. Only 1 car had both.
The 5 that are still available, 2 are Onyx Black, 1 Carbon Black, 1 Storm Black and 1 Tungsten Silver. For those still looking to buy, your ideal colour and specification may take a while to find

I had the impression a much higher proportion had lightweights (I don't, and would not have bought a car with lightweights, such a personal choice). What proportion overall have lightweights?

Hi there, okay the Register has 331 UK cars from the 388 delivered to UK AMMD's. I will look at these initially, as countries such as USA weren't allowed to have the lightweights, only the sports seats due to regulations surrounding air bags.

UK:-
Lightweights 123 - alcantara 61, leather 50, unknown 12.
Sports Seats 150 - alcantara 27, leather 110, unknown 13.
Unknown 58

USA & Canada:-
Sports Seats 186 (out of 225 total) - alcantara 59, leather 80, unknown 47.

One of these cars has a unique (AFAIK) deletion from factory spec on seats heating, which all Sports Seats have as standard!

Rest of World (288 so far):-
Lightweights 75 - alcantara 33, leather 14, unknown 28.
Sports Seats 113 - alcantara 22, leather 63, unknown 28.
Unknown 100

So far then, excluding the US & Canada, and the unknowns, lightweights account for 43%, with the Sports seats being 57%.

Cheers
Phil

Very interesting. So it would seem cars with lightweights change hands less frequently as much less than 43% of the used market has them at any one time it seems?

Hi,

Just adding number 1270 , carbon black with black leather, premium audio with heated sports seats.

I'm the second owner

As a 2013 car it must be one of the last. How many were actually built ?

Just an update in that my V12V in Storm Black with red carbon, has red and black alcantara seat and door panels, but now has different wheels, tints, Divinatech rear lights and now runs close to 600bhp after visiting Bamford Rose.

NN7 - thanks for the update, I have 858 on the Register. If you wish to email me i’ll send you the notes I have on your car.

Wayne - I don’t have 1270 on my Register, was this advertised for sale anywhere as I’ve missed this one? I’ll post on here info on where yours sits re final numbers. I’ll pm you tomorrow for further details if that’s okay? There were 1199 V12V built.

Steveway - thanks, I’ll update the Register. Must be one of the most modified car on the Register lol.

Hopefully I’ll be updating the topic this weekend with a full breakdown of V12V colours!!

Hi,

1270

I bought it from HR Owen Cheltenham before it got listed. I expressed an interest in a V12V and when this one came up I got a call.

First time it's been sold since new. Originally supplied by Cambridge.

Hi Wayne, I've sent you an email!

Yours is the 1147th built from 1199 cars and there's a further 31 UK cars after yours, but only 3 more UK CB cars.

I am almost convinced that a v12s vantage will be my next purchase... But just wanted to ask you lovely bunch of people a mundane question - how often does the front scrape on speed bumps/ramps? I only have 1 car, so the vantage would have to put up with popping to the shops, multi storey car parks, and city driving. Obviously, I was not going waste my rest drive time doing boring driving like that, so I would really appreciate your input. Much appreciated guys.

Cypriot - ouch! The carbon fibre front spoiler is a one piece £3000 pound item. Mine has never been in a multi storey. Too risky. Some speed bumps are negotiated carefully but I’ve turned around a few times too to avoid!
There is a newer (plastic?) spoiler I believe but I wouldn’t want to risk the CF item if it’s scrape free.

I have done about 35k miles in V12V’s and whilst you do need to be careful the front is not that low. I have scrapped the underneath of the spoiler a few times at very low speed with no issues. You soon learn to angle your approach and I have to say it is not something that worries me too much. Mind you on one occasion I did reverse into a car park entrance once to avoid what looked like a difficult entrance smile Have a test drive and see how you feel. They are fantastic cars!

Wow - You V12 Vantage owners have the absolute best exterior & interior colors! I'm a V12S owner in the USA which we have two basic choices for the majority of 2015 and 2017 V12S cars - either Black on Black (mine - bland - yuck) or White with black interior - boring!

Thanks for the replies. I have already done a test drive and got so carried away that I totally forgot to see how it copes with speed bumps... it was a cracking drive!!
