For your records I am the proud and fortunate owner of :

V12 Vantage in Quantum Silver
Ist Reg: 21 05 10
Mine since: 23 11 10
Chassis: 342
Reg: GB 09 AML
Located: Devon

p.s. Love it!
pp.s. Looking at the V5C (Log book) for my Chassis number I noticed there is a 'Sound Level' section. Interestingly the 'Drive by (dB(A)) for the V12 Aston and my Diesel Range Rover Sport are identical....... Who was kidding who?!

The 570s looks great doesn't it!!! I was all over one in Singapore recently. BUT, I was shocked to see the level of corrosion that was present on a brand new car. Maybe it was the heat and humidity in Singapore making things worse, but corrosion around wheel arches, wings and even the rear spoiler tray really put me off. I've had some blebs around my door handles on the Aston, all fixed under warranty, but that was nothing compared to what I saw on the 570s.

It seems to be a problem alright but all panels are replaced when it happens at least in the UK. Yeah I think that in terms of tech and performance they are a step on from the Vantage but a warranty is an absolute must...did 3k miles around Europe in my Vantage recently such a brute on the autobahn !

Bought a 570 S at the start of the summer and my Aston has only been used twice in that time . As much as I love the Aston, I have to say the 570 has totally blown my mind. I seem to have been pretty lucky with no reliability issues or corrosion as mentioned above, but as a car to drive, it really is something special and a proper piece of kit.

I was worried about missing the noise from my V12 vantage (it is de-catted), but weirdly have grown to like the noise and although very different from the Aston (and yes, not as evocative), I think it actually suits the character of the McLaren better.

Both are lovely cars, but as a drivers car, the McLaren really is something else...

I’m happy to say I have ABSOLUTELY zero interest in modern supercars thankfully, they change and become “old models” almost monthly. That issue alone would drive me insane

Your car is very beautiful Tim, but I am fairly sure Phil's worldwide register is only for the V12 Vantage (ie. 6 speed manual).

I have an idea. The LordBretSinclair Vantage V12S Register. - wink
