I posted this in the grey thread thinking it would fit in there, but maybe white is for the more adventurous wink

"If anyone has any good pictures of white DBS's I'd appreciate it for my little collection."

Thanks smile

The grey one will definitely be there. I should have my seating and suspension projects done by then and I'll want to test them out on the track and let people try them out.

If my girlfriend can get the time off from work, she'll be bringing the red one. But we've got a lot going on this year already so her getting that much more time off is going to be difficult.
Good luck with everything -- see you there, and hopefully her too.

Great photo, the Vantage looks so fresh in bright colours.

Why is the Vantage "acceptable" in bright colours yet the 9 so reserved? Even a former dealer told me he sued to talk prospective customers out of "bold" olour choices.

That pic is great because it also show how much better they look with no front plate. They have aged so so nicely.

Thanks guys smile

I think bright-colored Astons look amazing. There's the one guy on here with a stunning DB9 (metallic orange, I think?) and a few others, but not nearly enough colorful DB9s. And the colorful Vantages really stand out. It's a shame most are grey-scale.

And yeah, front plates really take away from the look of the car!

That's me then (it's a Virage)

It certainly gets attention.
I'm surprised people are not more adventurous with their colours. Luckily the dealer who specified this was.

Stratstone Newcastle - I was in when it was parked up like that, looked very nice with the DB5s behind. Did you buy it then or was it just in for work?

Reviving this thread after I peeked inside the service bay at Stratstone Newcastle.Would be nice to see this out in the sunshine, and well done to someone for taking advantage of Aston's new and more adventurous colour palette.

Indeed, well done to the person buying this and well done Aston Martin for suggesting these colours. One does get tired of seeing silver birch (or similar resale silver) Astons.

The choice of colour is always going to be subjective.
Notwithstanding the above, ones choice is sometimes limited by several factors.
If speccing a new car then it's obviously subjective subject to one's concern,or not, about re selling in the future.
If purchasing pre owned then an abundance of greys and black limits the choice.
I would add that most think of the AM as an understated and "sophisticated" choice rather than a "look at me" choice.
I went for black but chose a cream truffle interior which for me struck a balance.
I do think that the Vantages do suit the brighter colours, say yellows or oranges, more comfortably than the GT models.
However when I do see an unusual choice of colour it often makes me smile.
