Not been far yet, but it's very different to the TVR Chimaera it replaces, but I was expecting/wanting that.
It's a lot quieter, I can't see fuse 22 lasting long, but then the TVR was antisocially noisy (de-cat and sleeved exhaust)
Small hiccup with the drivers door lock but it's a 'Timeless' car so going back tomorrow morning to have that sorted.
It's been a VERY long process from initial 'I want a Vantage' to Saturdays collection, probably nearly 3 years which included moving house to get a garage big enough to accommodate it, but it's all been worth it, I can't really believe I've done it but looking forward to getting some miles in it.
Excellent! I look forward to seeing your thoughts on your lovely new acquisition as I'm very much in the same boat as you were probably about a year ago...It's a lot quieter, I can't see fuse 22 lasting long, but then the TVR was antisocially noisy (de-cat and sleeved exhaust)

...soon... hopefully..
A few years ago when we put on a display of cars just about everything was silver/grey. We had 16 cars on display at The 44th Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle (near Exeter) and 13 were blues, reds, greens. Just brilliant.
If ever you are down in Devon when it is on it is well worth a visit. 1150/1200 vehicles of every description on display and crowds of people coming along to enjoy looking at the cars. The weather wasn't bad this year either, well probably perfect.
