I popped in a few weeks ago to say hi and show them my new Vantage as I picked their brains before I bought it.
I mentioned an irritating rattle which Nick fixed and wouldn't let me pay anything for as he said it was an easy fix.
Great guys and worth supporting especially if you're running the car on budget.

I'm polishing the knobs.
It's a year now and it hasnt blown up or left me stranded. The gearbox is still as crisp
and fast as ever.

Hi chaps...... And Jockman...

I'm currently typing this from Bridgemill motorssmile where my car is in the capable hands of Adam, and his young apprentice, Brad...

The car is in for it's 6 years (60k) service, although its not quite yet cracked ((20k)....smile

The guys started work on it at around 8.30 this morning, and I've just got back from a leisurely stroll around the town....

I was told by Adam, that this was one of the more involved services, brake fluid change etc etc, and that it'd be at least 4 hours, so I left them to it.....

Anyway as I say, I've just come back, and found the car up on the ramps, and not much left to do.....

Adam has pointed out a few issues, that will need rectifying at the next service, hence giving me time to source parts,etc...
Basically 1 shock on the rear and 1 on the front are showing signs of light misting..... Nothing to worry about at the moment, but will need to keep an eye on them...

So a quick look at what's going on, reassures me that these lads really care about what they're doing and are extremely thorough.....thumbup

It was nice to return and "catch" them putting copper slip on certain nuts and boltscool and it's clear to see that there is definitely attention to detail in their work...

They've fitted my own supplied rear pads, but the fronts will be fine until next time, so good news there...
Oh and by the way, Adam assures me that the cheap pads fro Eurocarparts, are exactly the same as the official AM onessmile

So the bottom line for me is....... The guys at Bridge mill, obviously know their stuff, they get on with the job at hand, and are genuinely nice folk to deal with......

Can't say more than that really, other than I shall be returning next year.smilesmile

I did...... But only because I had it........ To be fair to bridge mill, they don't do the rip off thing on the oil, and charge a sensible mark up....... So next year I'll be more than happy for them to supply...smile

Bringing this thread up-to-date - I have been using Bridge Mill Motors for the past 7 years (1997 DB7 i6 and 2008 V8V Roadster and I am entirely satisfied with their workmanship. As from April 2018 they will be known as AML Performance. Highly recommended and a few hours spent in Macclesfield is a delight.

Don’t know if you’re being serious about Macclesfield ?

Just to add to this, I bought my first Aston Martin (V8 Vantage N420) from Bridge Mill a couple of months back and couldn't have been happier with the service I received from Mark, Adam and Ivan.
