Price stateside still seems to be on the decline. Several on cars.com for less than $110,000. If this trend continues someone going to want to start taking them back to europe.
I stopped driving my dbs manual after getting a v12smr in the new year. Now i've calmed down from the new toy aspect I've really started to enjoy the dbs manual again, it's a really lovely drive that makes you feel good. The v12vsmr is definitely more modern and faster but sometimes that not what I want from a drive. I believe the dbs has gone back to being a keeper again for me.

Interesting that they were a £10k premium - same as the Carbon Edition as it turns out - over a 'standard' DBS
Wonder who I know has got a 2012 Carbon Edition...... oh... its me !!! cloud9

It's not cheap but so help me if that was a manual I'd bite their hands off

Totally agree fantastic car especially with a manual box - saying that I think any V12 NA Manual Aston will be post new Vantage/Vanquish launch .

Yep, as with mark 1 Vanquish and various other models, the Aston 'final / run-out' editions do seem to fare particularly well in the used market

Correct me if I'm wrong but the ultimate edition, other than prestige, was simply a little bit of cosmetic trim ? All DBS versions came so fully loaded there were very few options IIRC and I don't think there were ever changes to weight, suspension, power or indeed performance/handling mods of any description over any variant ?

Quilted diamond stitching to seats and headlining plus some red bits and bobs such as the end of the paddles.

".....It’s also worth noting that Ultimate buyers won’t be restricted to the six-speed auto that was standard in the DBS Carbon and Carbon Black editions: This last run of cars will offer a manual option as well. "

A MANrolleyesual Ultimate Edition - Now that would be a 'true' Unicorn - If indeed one existed...

I thought you'd got a super duper sat nav upgrade that negated the need for Tom Tom?

I believe someone posted up one of the manual cars in the US a couple of months ago.
