Congratulations, she's a beauty.
You mentioned you got a good deal, the same dealer told me 'no negotiation on price', how did you get them to move?
Offer them the bait with an offer but depends how serious you are - I made an offer and acted upon it by saying "i'll put a deposit on it today if the price is x amount".You mentioned you got a good deal, the same dealer told me 'no negotiation on price', how did you get them to move?
Thanks for the advice and comments. Very interesting trip to a different dealership today, Stratstone may not move on the screen price.... but they have offered a very big discount on a new car. Now I've got a big decision to make, the offer's only available until tomorrow.
Meteorite silver, manual gearbox (my preference), Obsidian Black interior with silver stitching and Piano Black Facia with all the extras you can think of It's more than I'd planned to spend, but the price is so good it's hard to resist - there are similar 6-12 month old cars being advertised for higher. Time to get the thinking cap on.
What do you reckon, is it time to take the plunge?

Obviously I'm not aware of your personal circumstances and priorities......... But what I will say, is you only live once, life isn't a rehearsal, and you can't take it with you.....
I'm very fortunate, I've got all the essentials covered and now it's time for a bit of self indulgence I'd just never considered buying new, on principle really, due to the high 1st year depreciation. I'm justifying it by the fact that the discount is so substantial it pretty much negates that..ish Options on the spec are:
High spec alarm
Bluetooth
Black calipers
Cruise control
Bright finish grille
Piano Black veneer
Bright Grille
Front Parking sensors
700W stereo
Memory and heated seats
Sat Nav (Garmin)
Auto dimming rear view mirror
V Spoke Graphite DT wheels
you can see why it's so tempting

In March 2010 I went to buy a one-year old DB9 from Wilmslow and they threw in a similar curve ball - you could have a brand new Vantage, on display in the showroom at £110k, for the same price !!
I immediately jumped in another Vantage and went for a spin
Then I bought the DB9
Should have got the opinion of an adultI immediately jumped in another Vantage and went for a spin
Then I bought the DB9
