Yup, having read through the article yesterday on the Lib Dems thoughts for VED replacement, many of the comments were claiming that £23k is peanuts to people who can afford Astons, who cares about the filthy rich etc. there were other comments made condemning the idea as well, but mainly because they could see the effect on the wider car industry.
Since Thatcher left, we've had 22 years of bland, socialist policy that's driven any ambition and aspiration out of the economy (or out of the country). I quit work because I'm dammed if I'm going to give away upwards of 60% of my income.

I was driving with the roof down one lovely evening and 4 gorgeous women jumped out into the road in front of me and pulled their boobs out. Or did I dream that?
I actually had that happen following a bus in France in my last Vantage!
Mrs K saw the funny side from the passenger seat
And a counter
Parked up with the roof down in a town in France recently a British couple walked past. She said wow that's a nice looking car is it really an Aston Martin? He replied - yes but they couldn't afford the roof rolleyes
