With the present fascination with everything James Bond, I wonder if the car numbered 007 of 101 will have any affect on present or indeed future pricing.
I'm sure someone out there would pay a premium for the "007" numbered car. (even though Jimmy Bond hasn't driven one, yet)
I have number 007 of 124 DB9 LM and tried to get number 007 for my V12R. Was told it was allocated to a shareholder of AML. I think there is some novelty value in having 007 -whether that relates to increased value I'm not so sure. Nice talking point though. Great looking car Alwin, very striking - I'm sure you're very excited. FYI, you mention on your blog about the A-pillar stitching being something you think is quite unusual. You're right. My magma V8S roadster had a black interior with red stitch, including the inner wheel & the a-pillar, just like yours
When I was speccing V12VR, I felt one combination I was looking at would look good with this so I enquired and was intially told it couldn't be done. I sent them pictures of the S with it in and they said it was done as a sort of Q idea (my car was the dealer roadshow car for customers to preview the S when it first came out) and they didn't think it had been done since. They priced it up as an option but I went with a very different scheme in the end so didn't take it up
I have to say I'm not a fan in general of two tone interiors in Vantages, as I think the cabin is a little small to take it and it can end up looking a little fussy but I think yours is one of the more succesful versions I've seen, perhaps because it's helped by the blue leather matching the blue exterior.
Cobalt is stunning and whilst it's not the interior scheme I would choose for this particular car, I would enjoy seeing it on the road. I think it's really positive for all owners and the marque, from a number of different angles, that cars like V12VR and new vanquish have a much higher percentage being specced by customers (not dealers) and within that, plenty of bold choices. The fewer grey cars with black interiors that better !

I was pondering this before. I came up with Hardly Green exterior (painted bonnet vents too), and all exposed carbon painted in jet black (q option maybe?). Cream truffle and parliament green interior with walnut fascia. Contrast stitching. Winchester green roof. Silver wheels. Perfect
That sounds awful!silverspeed said:
My Vin is 171 so they are getting through them now. Do we know where the build numbers start and how they relate to Coupe Vin numbers? Perhaps Phil (Mako) might be able to she'd some light?
Graham,The Coupe vs Roadster vins:-
The Coupes end in GS00XXX (1-999) and GS01XXX (1000 onwards)
The Roadsters are GS21XXX
The Roadster vins I currently have are:-
GS21003/004/021/060 and these appear to be Aston demos
GS21139/171 - owners cars
The plaque numbers I have confirmed which do not match the vins are:-
002/005/010/017
Hope you find this of interest!
