They look very nice, can I ask where they were purchased from ?
I am thinking of maybe a sneaky man maths upgrade soon.
I got these from Top Gear in Bridport but went via their Ebay outlet as there can be savings to be had that way. I am thinking of maybe a sneaky man maths upgrade soon.
Vesuvius in at Cambridge for service and hopefully they will locate and cure an annoying 'tick-tick-tick sound that occasionally and only briefly eminates from the transmission at low revs/speed as power is reapplied,,,a truly difficult one for them to sort.

The V8 4.7 is a great car but I can't get over how much better the V12sm is in every way (except fuel economy, but who cares about that).
Yes, I can imagine... a V12sm is on the list of future possibilities, we are talking a few years away when and if the second hand market plays nice!Collected the car from it's annual service including new transmission cooler pipes.
Really excellent service from AJ Tech in Devon.
Will Khoo really knows his stuff, not just as a factory trained technician but as an engineer for a race team that run a Vantage.
Not only is he local to me but kept me up to date overnight with photos of the work carried out.
Like most of us, I like having had it serviced and over the years the wincing when presented with the bill is becoming more bearable.
Roll on Le Mans!!

The new wheels look great, hes a shot a got a Brand's Tony, they did get a bit close! http://i.imgur.com/LpLp4Jt.jpg
Nice picture Mr Horse………...! http://i.imgur.com/LpLp4Jt.jpg
I see you've captured Bill Bailey wandering along behind the hoodie and some old bloke looking pretty vacant
at the top left wearing what appears to be his best Hush Puppies,he also appears to have a zimmer frame
or is it one of those portable commodes……..
Much prefer the new wheels on the motor Tony, they look much more sporting and suited imo.

+1 on the wheels. Only thing I don't like on mine and they were a silly price option when new as wellI see you've captured Bill Bailey wandering along behind the hoodie and some old bloke looking pretty vacant

Hit a fox while travelling at speed. Three bumps.
First was the initial contact with the front bumper, then O/S/F and O/S/R rear wheel finishing the job. Front bumper is undamaged but is temporarily deformed due to the corner of the undertray bending upwards. I think a quick biff with a hammer will sort all that out. It's just the cracked lower lip spoiler which has also pulled a couple of fixings through that will need any money spending on it.
Gruesome after-effects along the O/S sill and rear arch will require the attention of a hosepipe.

Ooh nasty, but could have been worse I guessFirst was the initial contact with the front bumper, then O/S/F and O/S/R rear wheel finishing the job. Yep, not too bad overall. Got the car up into the air this afternoon to have a poke about. The O/S air filter box is no longer for this world. There's just not enough Araldite in the world to satisfactorily fix that! Ordered a new one today.
The transparent air channel behind the oil cooler is cracked around its mounting holes, but will fibreglass back together ok.
The oil cooler itself has taken a knock but the impact is just a small localised dent on one of the end caps, so I'm not too fussed about that, although the mounts need puling forward just a touch.
The lower grille was a bit warped but straightened out ok and is now waiting for its fresh paint to dry.
The undertray needs attention - it's folded like paper!
No paint damage at all (just "smears" ) and the bumper skin has reshaped itself after a few hours outside in the sunshine.
Bits of Mr Fox are stuck on various extremities of the car's underside. Tufts mainly...
Back on the road again soon.
