While waiting for my summer wheels to be fitted I picked up a new, black 6-bar grill from my dealer for a song, 25% of new the price. I was discussing how I want to de-chrome the car and he presented the 6-bar, said he`d had it sitting around due to some mix-up or other. I queried the price of black bonnet meshes, and fitting of meshes and grill while I was at it... wait for it... 530chf (415 quid) for the meshes and 480chf (375 quid) for fitting everything. Cough, splutter, no thanks!
"Well, we`re not VW," he replied.

So, 1x can of plastidip applied to the meshes and half an hour of switching bits and voila! One black grill and black bonnet meshes fitted. Before and after of the grill below, much prefer it to the original, updates the car nicely. Now I`ll be in hurry up and get everything else done mode I guess!

Hopefully going to pick up my newly painted front nosecone from the paint shop and also awaiting a delivery of a new set of GT spec grooved brake discs direct from AML via UPS for my 7.

Today I studied the front undertray and pondered what I must have hit or run over to have produced such pretty dents.

Stop - block of wood and a hammer time...

My wife asked a friend (who's a professional photographer / videographer) to spend a day with me and "my baby" filming and photographing the car over the day to make a collage/montage of her for me. What an awesome present!

He has sent me a small grab of today's shoot and it has really blown me away! Here's one photo from the shoot he's sent me.

I cant wait to see the finished product. He is an amazing artist.

Matt.

Looks stunning albeit I would have thought AML would fit them as standard considering the cars price tag.

Been busy re-building my 7vv's front end after nosecone re-paint and also fitted a set of new GT brake discs to complete the GT Brembo look.

She had the Brembo GT brake upgrade from new but with drilled discs. Ive now fitted the GT spec grooved discs from AML ( not cheap ) but worth it for the look and hopefully better stopping power ( we shall see ). LOL. Currently running with EBC yellow stuff pads.

Its all fun.

A couple of vents to help with releasing the high temperature and also a clutch upgrade and ceramic breaks.
She drives even better now.
