[quote=M5MarkM]Sold my DB9V frown Actually a very sad moment having had the car for 4.5 years. Strange - since I got the Vanquish S I just don't use the DB9V any more at all, but still very sad to see her go, some sort of solace to be had even with her just sitting in the garage all year!

Is that the lovely River Itchen in the background
Great car by the way

It is indeed! Well spotted, difficult in the centre of Southampton to find a spot for a good background!

I am sure with the Vanquish S new Gearbox, updates chassis, noise etc it must have been difficult to want to drive the DB9 over the Vanquish?

yup... 2016 I did 900 miles in the DB9V. This year I took it for service and MOT that's it. Can't imagine ever taking it out over the S. Made sense to sell, just difficult on the heart!

I noticed your car in the Auto Trader, it sold pretty quick, how did you find the private selling experience and did you get what you wanted for it? Your Vanquish S is awesome! and as stunning as the DB9 was, it wouldn't get a look in

Made myself an armrest :-) ... very much a mark 1 version but already more useful than the cupholders or a hole where your elbow needs to be !

Seen these done before, but surely they make opening the cubby a right faff?

It doesn't impede the opening of the cubby at all.. you can still get your fingers under the metal edge at the front without any problem.

Great day out yesterday with the SW Pistonheaders - meet up at Haynes Motor Museum before a brisk cross country run to Sherborne Classics at The Castle.

Fitted H&R lowering springs then went for a full geo check. Quite impressed with results.
