So what have you done with your Aston today?

Thumbs up to that, always thing they are badly finished for a prestige motor.

Thanks David, maybe it's just my OCD but my eye was always drawn to those rusty centres as I walked up to the car.DW
I didn't even need to take the wheels off, I just did a quarter of each hub with a half inch brush through the spokes, then kept rolling the car forwards a few inches and repeating, It only took about 15 minutes to do all four hubs, with no masking required, if you overlap any paint onto the disc surface the pads take it straight off on first application of the brakes, to leave a nice clean edge.

Ah what a pain especially being it’s just come back from the detailers sure I have read on hear that the (think it’s called a chin protector) is not overly expensive, sure somebody with a lot more knowledge than me will come along and help This, if you feel like a bit of carbon (https://www.divinatech.com/vantage-carbon-splitter-p/amves.htm)! Wow, looks like you had fun!Two of my favourite cars in that picture too, yours and the Carrera 2.7RS Touring.
I still remember fondly my dad's 2.7RS Touring.
Is your mate's an original RS or a replica?
Lovely cars, lovely setting and I assume good company, what else do you need?
Edited to add that the RS looks tiny behind the Aston, it just goes to show how sports cars have grown and put on weight over the years (like their owners probably!).

Some amazing roads up there. Did the NC500 a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. Can I ask if you have had some suspension work done to your car? It looks like it is riding much higher than the typical Vantage. Could just be the photo and probably my eyes too

No its standard, maybe the silver rather than black wheels make it look that way?Can I ask if you have had some suspension work done to your car? It looks like it is riding much higher than the typical Vantage. Could just be the photo and probably my eyes too
