So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
I'll shortly be preparing my DB9 Volante for a three week long tour of Italy. So I'll take it to Newport Pagnell for a service and an MOT, plus there is a call back ( or whatever they're called ) to attend to a cable running under the drivers seat. It'll also make sense to have the air con regassed, I think.
My next door neighbour in Sienna tells me that some travellers have pitched camp on my tennis court and have been seen using my swimming pool for very unhygienic purposes.
Who'd have a villa in Tuscany !?
My cars got 25,000 miles on the clock. It'll have quite a few more at the end of the Summer.

As someone commented, some off topic stuff there. First bit ok, second bit is of what interest? Must be hell.My next door neighbour in Sienna tells me that some travellers have pitched camp on my tennis court and have been seen using my swimming pool for very unhygienic purposes.

Great photos Mark. Think I recognise that route.
So what are you thinking of moving onto?
I'm finding the ride a bit harsh and throttle a bit urgent for my liking. I know there is a standing joke on here about the DB9 being a pipe and slippers car but seriously, what kind of snarling animal are they comparing it to! So what are you thinking of moving onto?
I know a change of tyres away from Bridgestones would help, but really to make it ride like how I consider a proper Aston should the suspension would have to go. I really wanted to try your Virage before it went to see what adaptive damping was like in "comfort" mode...but thats all serious money that I could never afford or recoup.
I'm fancying backpedalling to a DB7 Volante as I'm an older-car guy at heart and the 7 seems more traditional and comforatble than the increasingly ferocious "British Ferrari" approach the modern Astons take on at each iteration. Trouble is the dealers are pushing the "modern classic bull on the 7 for all it's worth and there are some seriously average cars at surprising prices!
