So what have you done with your Aston today?

Cleaned my Alcantara steering wheel. It might not sound like much but what a difference it has made. So much more tactile and much nicer to hold on to. Don’t think it had ever been properly cleaned before...
It's quite surprising (and yucky) how much grime they build up over time. It makes a night and day difference when they're clean, especially being your primary point of contact with the car. Had a week off so a few days out and an overnight in New Forest
Also applied some PPF to the front of the sills and headlights
Will have now have to give it another wash
Cars feeling better the more miles I put on it although I going to get it booked in for 1st to 2nd gearchange which baulks 99% of the time

Had a lovely chat with a bloke on the train home this evening about Aston’s. The opening clue was his AMR Hackett polo. Turns out he was just on his way home from having done a deal to swap his ‘06 4.3 Vantage Coupe for a ‘12 Vantage S Roadster. Much geeky chat was had. I can only think what our fella passengers must have thought of us. Probably “tossers”.

Is waving at other Astons a 'thing', never really give it a thought, or had any wave at me for that mater (while actually in the Aston )
It’s a polite raise of the right index finger from the steering wheel grip position for those in the know....Buster73 said:

Being a sociable chappy it is my inclination to wave, however as my waving is met by stony indifference I don't bother now.
It's just another sign of the lack of friendly human interaction that is prevalent in London nowadays.
Are you wearing any clothes when you wave? It's just another sign of the lack of friendly human interaction that is prevalent in London nowadays.
