So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
Big day today getting all four of us in the car for the first time. I was dreading the idea but had a family birthday lunch we needed to attend so I thought it would be a good idea to try all the sardines in the can at last. Worked surprisingly well, and with my 5YO behind me the driving position was fine.
Managed to curb a front alloy whilst parking, of course its all their fault .
Got asked by a stranger if they could take a picture of my car for the first time. Wife reckons it will be stolen next week

Went for a 500 mile trip. This was typical - Passing zone ahead slower traffic keep right -(I'm stateside) Everyone stays to the f-ing left! I passed them all on the right. Was like this the whole trip. They may as well repost signs to - slower traffic keep left! Even on a 4 lane freeway I'd find myself having to go to the far right lane to get through traffic.
Due to my homes new development status the roads are being done this week so car laid up in Garage. Rather than leave on CTEK triple I thought I'd hit the BD S on Friday... went for a check today and ctek health indicator still flashing green.
So next weeks start up will include a fresh clutch learn
Edited to add I also fitted my GoPro mount ahead of Rockingham Trackday in October

Here in the UK it is not, but people still hog the middle and outside lanes. Which is also illegal now.
Have there been any prosecutions though?
The new law might not have made any difference.
I see the pretend policemen driving their foreign built SUVs, and sometimes an unmarked police car on the hard shoulder with flashing blue lights, but there are noticeably fewer marked car police patrols now.
Probably too busy issuing crime numbers, then closing the cases.

Nick hi, I'd have been extremely disappointed had no one noticed, extremely, reassuring that standards are being maintained. Any road up, where's Phil, he's the numero uno spotter of obscure detail.
Hi Bob,I expect this heatwave has wreaked havoc with the elderly keeping The Little Blue One very busy

A similar rule applies to motorcyclists and filtering in traffic (which is not illegal either despite some drivers thinking it is).

Actually, I dont believe undertaking is illegal in the UK (that is why the new law to stop people hogging the outside lanes was created). It would be a stupid law that prohibited a car in the middle lane going past a car in the outside lane due to traffic flow. My understanding (from advanced training blah boredem yadda yadda) is that if you undertake then plod would look at it for driving without due care, recklessness, etc, but the act itself is not illegal. Please correct me if I am wrong.

That's about right. "undertaking" in itself isn't an offence, but could be seen as wreckless or unsafe if plod chose to say so or believed it was. HOWEVER it has ALWAYS been offence to hog middle or even lane 3 and can be prosecuted under "obstructing a public highway"A similar rule applies to motorcyclists and filtering in traffic (which is not illegal either despite some drivers thinking it is).
Sadly plod is more likely to tug the undertaker rather than the blocker....
upgraded anti roll bars from standard v8 vantage spec to gt8 sized fronts and V8s rears with new bushes and drop links and some geo tweeks, very pleased with the result. Reduced body roll, much more confidence in the car and the geo changes have nicely balanced the car under braking. Gave it a full corner weight and spanner check whilst I was at it.
Also ordered some new pads as these have got a bit past their best, might add some cooling soon when the new splitter arrives as you can see they are getting a bit hot!

also added a sunstrip as the sun visors are beyond useless on track. Got some vinyl form a local supplier and added an amr style stripe and lipstick in matt black. Not fully convinced but ill see if it grows on me. Cant be too bad as the other half still wanted to help wash it

Other than that, just enjoying it while the weather is good!
