The price must be a typo - I would have thought £100k was more like the right price.
That car was for sale at JCT600, Leeds about a year ago and it was one of the cheapest V12VS's on the market at the time. I went to look at it - it is a cracking car, but the mileage was relatively high for the age at the time and I personally didn't see its press history as a positive thing, so I decided to pass.

I also looked at this at JCT600 - to be fair it was in great condition but I had no idea it was converted from LHD to RHD, sounds like a recipe for trouble! - mileage, press car & colour put me off at the time but the colour has since grown on me somewhat! That car was for sale at JCT600, Leeds about a year ago and it was one of the cheapest V12VS's on the market at the time. I really hope that you don't believe it was converted from LHD to RHD because I will bet 50p that it hasn't. The Yellow Tang car was an early demonstrator for AML in RHD and before the model was released in the States. Perhaps it was converted from RHD to LHD and then back to RHD again. There are a number of clips of a Yellow Tang car in the Staes but IIRC these are all from 2014. AMDBSNick said:
There were 3 of them at Silverstone for the pre release customer drives. Two RHD and one LHD. We had to take it steady so as not to ruin them before the press got their hands on them
I was told that all three of those cars were pre-production and destined for the crusher. I reckon anyone financing that would find themselves with a balloon payment of about £4.80. I assume it's KX62 FCA - that registration is still registered to a yellow V12 Vantage registered on 18/12/12
If so, that's the car that Aston took on lots of publicity events such as to Hotel de France in la Chartre just before Le Mans, to Supercardriver at media city before going on to CPOP, etc - it was indeed a UK registered car that was LHD
The car was very much a development car, being worked on whilst it was being shown - I remember chatting to the driver who was telling me amongst other things, for example, that they were still calibrating the gearbox software
I like others am struggling to see why they would convert such a car from LHD to RHD

I'm willing to bet 50p with Ian that its not been converted to RHD. Why would AM even bother, the insane amount of work to convert it wouldn't make it remotely justifiable.
Not that much work if it was a UK car but LHD.IIRC all the electronics looms are std LHD or RHD.
A dash and steering rack swap wouldn't be that much work for the factory rework team.
I saw one of the Tang Yellow cars at JCT600 and Shelsley Walsh
Great colour but this seller is "havin' a Giraffe!"
I must be missing something too, the only thing "special" about that car is the price LOL
how can it be worth more than a new one, built to order to your spec, when its had 30K miles on it a rebuild, maybe a change to RHD, and thrashed around the world by journos and joe public ....crazy LOL
