AM V8 - It's in the mags!

Well, it's in Drive magazine to be precise. I wouldn't normally buy this particular magazine, but I have today as it has the first official pics of the AM V8 (in yellow!).

I'm sure all the other magazines will follow suit, but Drive is first on the shelves

Some good news, some bad.

Good = They reckon it'll be "circa" £70k
Bad = They claim it has only 302lb/ft of torque. That seems a bit low. 380bhp is on the mark though

There'w a wee paragraph in the latest EVO as well - They also say 302lb ft. (IIRC), and NO official word on price.

I have to say that £70k sounds like a good deal!

Still gonna wait for the convertible S version though!

Power and torque are a match for the 997 S but the F430 manages about 340lbft from the same capacity (albeit flat-plane) V8.
I'm sure it'll go just fine. It's got variable inlet timing which should give it lots of mid range grunt
