Looking forward to this!

Is there a planned route / map available in case we get split up / lost?

Hi

There will be a route map provided.

I'm trying to find a day to get a dry run in, but work keeps getting in the way.

The plan is drive up the coastal route to Bambrough Castle (Alnmouth, Warkworth etc) Stopping up there for a bit of refreshment then back down the A1 to let the cars stretch their legs (legally) a bit.

More details to follow.

It's looking like a good turn out and we'll do all that we can to give you a good event.

Looking forward to meeting you.

James

Funnily enough I've had a text off AM Newcastle asking if I want to join their ride up the coast event the same day.

Do I knock this run on the head and join theirs ...

Either Paul has hijacked this run out or James has sold his soul .....

Right, dry run completed. Maps will be provided.

Paul at Aston Martin is kindly providing us all with a picnic lunch including bubbly stuff for those who wish to partake.

Best of all we'll be granted access to take our cars into Bamburgh Castle itself, again courtesy of AM for our picnic.

Please try to get to the Dealers NE28 9NZ by 1000 at the latest so we can leave on time at 1030. Tea/coffee and butties on arrival.

Fingers crossed for fine weather.

Off to Tel Aviv in the morning for a bit of work but will be watching emails if you have any questions.

See you all on Sunday.

Sounds great!

Its times like this that makes me curse the lack of space in the DB9 just to bring our little doggies for a run on the beach.

Well mine is an interloper from Buckinghamshire, but it is impressive nonetheless.

All welcome, even Southerners!

Champagne picnic in the castle sounds nice

We should make an impressive sight (and sound) especially when we all drive through the little streets of Alnmouth and Seahouses.

I am - my missus is a northern monkey Durham lass. She does all my translating when I venture north of the Watford Gap.

Don't worry Steve, if we see he's starting to be impressed we can take him through Blyth and Seghill. Perhaps you could show him some of the better parts of Sunderland.

Don't worry guys I invest in property in the North East and have been to some of the worst of your st holes. I have also owned property in Sunderland, specifically the end of Hylton Road, closest to the city centre and the University so I know deprivation.

You can't frighten me with you urban decay and squalor, I've spent an afternoon in Middlesborough (to watch Chelsea at the Riverside).

To be fair the grounds quite nice and you kindly gave us three points last time I was there.
