Gloss black. But it is not a full car; just a model so don’t draw conclusions.....
When you say the silver/grey car you snapped is a model do you mean it's a pre-production car? Must confess that does look better... I wonder what an all gloss black car would look like? Perhaps I'm saying all the plastic rad-grill surround should be body coloured...

Mine is coming in Ultramarine black; therefore the gloss black details around the grill and the rear diffuser will merge with the car nicely I think.I wonder what an all gloss black car would look like? Perhaps I'm saying all the plastic rad-grill surround should be body coloured...
However it does look good in silver also.
It is a very muscular car and the bonnet is extremely imposing / wide when you see it in real-life.

Does this car have the exterior carbon fibre pack or is it gloss black?I’d like to hate it but it’s really grown in me.

Yes it does look more palatable from this angle, ie. when you don't see this awful front grille and rear diffuser so much.
... And you don't hear the exhaust farting.
I completely agree with what Speedraser said about the car! He may well be my hidden brother!
OK, I will shut up too now.
The car shouldn't look better when you stand in a such way that you don't see the grille! Especially when the Aston grille is such a beautiful piece of design. ... And you don't hear the exhaust farting.

Interesting, the headlight shape is more like the DB10 as well.I actually prefer that style, I don't really like that gentle curve at the top of the lights, it's the only thing I dislike about the car.
I saw this over on the 6-Speed forum.
Front and rear end treatments aside, I'm not sure I could live with such poor panel gaps and mis-matched seams/lines around the gill where it flows into the door. Maybe it will be better executed in production, but on the launch cars with body colour gills, it looks rather messy to me.

The rattle can black lower door and sill are contrived to give it a bit of One-77 but its too short and too high to pull it offFront and rear end treatments aside, I'm not sure I could live with such poor panel gaps and mis-matched seams/lines around the gill where it flows into the door. Painted is the way forward. I do miss the old look from the legacy cars but in black it lost a little of the shape if you do it in black.
+1! Not sure what the black strake embellishment ( ) is called, but it didn't look good on the preview model at Gaydon, I'd definitely save the money & keep it painted. All this talk of the new Vantage's nose, no one has commented on the Vantage GTE front end, whilst busy it seems to be a great attempt. Future AMR version perhaps!
I did like the comment earlier in the thread about creating various styles of the same car.
That would indeed be a coup for AML and take the bespoke theme mainstream rather than 'off the peg'.
