So if £1m raised that gives 1 in 50,000 chance of winning the car... I bought 5 tickets so 1 in 10,000. Better chances than the lottery I suppose
Mark thank you for supporting us. Someone has to win the car, only 3 months left until the draw. If you have not bought your ticket yet go to www.rafbf.org the tickets are £20 each.I'm sure Simon won't mind me mentioning - I saw the finished Red 10 yesterday and my God it is stunning. The wrapped promo car doesn't even come close, the paint and details on the final cars is something else.
I'll not say too much but I honestly believe these cars will be very sought after in the future. The Vanquish doesn't have long left and these, with their incredibly high spec and Q content are sure to be keepers.
Must add that Simon is a top chap, lent me a Vanquish S for the day and I absolutely fell in love with it. Will be doing a review but if you haven't heard one, this is some Vanquish S exhaust deliciousness:

Just a few interesting points to add:-
1. Each car took 500+ man hours to paint - the paintwork is absolutely incredible but you'll have to wait a bit longer to see it
2. The ejection seat detonator chord shape in the carbon fibre roof panel took 3 x days to make (each panel) and the process was very challenging. The 2mm thick foil graphic had to be 'floated' into precise position using water (very fiddly!) and then layers of lacquer built up to deliver the finished gloss carbon panel - it looks absolutely stunning on the car
3. The rear of the car is a bespoke design, with a unique carbon helmet dock and retraining strap design - there will be 2 x helmets in the finished cars and 2 x race suits - red for the driver and blue for the passenger, in keeping with the Red Arrows flight suits

What a great collection of details on these cars! Impossible to reproduce and for certain to be highly collectible (probably will not be seen in public very often after delivery, except for planned get togethers at special events).
What was the thinking/inspiration behind the interior color combo? Do these Red Arrows have similar colors in the cockpit? I've only ever seen pinewood/black on one other car; a DBS. Love it, but then I would...

Every detail in the car takes its inspiration from the jets and the team. The seat colour matches, as close as we could get, the colour of the Martin Baker ejection seats in the Hawk jets flown by the Red Arrows.

how many coats? seems an awful long time.
The blue & white graphics on the sills, rear bumper, diffuser, side strakes, doors and grill are all unique and have been masked off/painted by hand. This combined with a bespoke paint colour has taken a lot of time. All will become clear when we release the exterior shots.......In a PH Forum Exclusive, see below some shots of the completed car. We have Red 3 left available to purchase, handover ceremony will take place at RAF Scampton on October 24th, its not too late to own one of these, PM me on simon.lane@jardinemotors.co.uk Pics as below:-
