This could be very good or quite odd I think:

Either way I'm booked to see it.

I thought I'd hate the game but became captivated by it, even more so when playing it through with the developer commentary on which explained how they used music to tell the story. So I can imagine this will work really well.

Remember playing the original game before it's graphics overhaul. The chinese rooms have done some great interactive stories, Dear Esther had such a great vocal talent and odd esoteric script that changed each playthough it really made a lasting impression. Might go and see this in Nottingham, just have no idea if it'll be anywhere near the same as the game, it was incredible as the game took you there, i have doubts that an island that isn't even real/in the mind of the protagonist can be made anymore cool and interesting than in the game.

Looks interesting. I played Dear Esther about a year ago after falling in love with Everyone's Gone to the Rapture; most notably Jessica Curry's haunting, choir score.

Everybody's gone to the rapture I would say is better than Dear Esther. I thought it was fantastic. Pity they are not doing that live. But I suppose Dear Esther was the leading influence for these types of games (if, of course, they are indeed games at all).
