Cancelling Avast Antivirus
Discussion
My missus has just had her Avast subscription auto-renew, but she wants to cancel it. She says she wasn't aware that it was set up to auto-renew. This isn't a problem in theory, as within their T&Cs it states you have 30 days to cancel/refund etc.
In practice, however, it seems as if it's impossible to actually cancel/refund it.
It's not possible to actually speak to anyone (despite what it states on the website), and having "raised a ticket" to resolve the issue, nothing seems to be happening whatsoever.
Has anyone managed to cancel and get a refund with Avast? If so, how the hell did you manage it?!
Cheers.

Don't bother with trying to call them...
Print to PDF their T&C which states the 30 day cancellation period.
Send them an email stating that you wish to cancel as per their T & C, if you can't find a valid email to send to then use http://www.ceoemail.com/index-search.php to contact their CEO and email him direct.
If you paid by credit card then contact the credit card company and dispute the payment, they will issue a chargeback.
