So got me thinking, sure sure sooner or later we won't have petrol engines and at the moment leccy looks like the way forward, maybe hydrogen fuel cells BUT what about thinking outside the box?

I think the problem is solved, I have discovered NEAR PERFECT perpetual motion! Latest addition to my family (Stormy) needs just a few cans of dog food a day and can manage to run around at high velocity for many, many MANY hours without rest! All we need is cars with a large golden retriever wheel connected to batteries and hey presto all problems solved! Simply throw sticks, socks, corners of sofas into the wheel and the little fella runs around powering up the batteries. Only waste is several unfeasibly large faeces... he is feeding off of discarded toilet rolls, and trying relentlessly to feed off of ducks now that he is 6 months old...

yep - close mate's third Dane - they do indeed struggle to get to double digits but amazing animals
