Just got my Vantage out after a couple of months of inactivity and it felt as though it had Pilot SuperSport 50p's on it - for about half a mile!

First time this has happened to me so:

a) Will not be leaving it stationary for so long again.
b) These cushion things may not be such a daft idea after all!

They did sort themselves out quickly though and I checked the pressures and topped them up a bit straight away and all seems well.

Surprised me though! rotate

If you are going to leave it for a while add more air (up to 40psi iirc on Bridgestones)

I do this instead of costly tyre cushions and lower the pressure before driving and get no flat spots.

I do the same, about 10psi extra in them if leaving it for say 3-4 weeks or more over winter. Works great.
