Newport Pagnell have shuffled their prices around a bit. The 2012 Storm Black started off at £89,950, dropped to £79,950 and has now gone up to £84,950. The 2010 Onyx Black was at £81,950 and has now dropped to £79,950. Just shows how mileage sensitive these cars still are price wise
Both very nice cars and as previously mentioned I was sorely tempted with the Marianna Blue one.
To me the sticking point is age and price. For a fraction more there are a few V12SMR options out there at the moment, so some people would just prefer the newer car.
We look at these sorts of things as enthusiasts, and we know why something is special etc. However many buyers probably don't, and if they're looking for a V12 Roadster it's hard to convince them to buy a 5 year old one for the same money as a 6 month old one. At that point many are would think......2.5 years warranty, 4 years newer, updated tech, more power.....why do I want the older one.
Remember not all buyers are enthusiasts as such, some people just like the look/sound etc and have the means to buy and sell on a whim.

I agree up to a point, but there are twice as many SM Roadsters for sale than the originals... Maybe the presence of both old and newer Roadsters for sale is confusing the market for both types. Looking at the older car? newer one for sale for only £10-30k more. Looking at the newer car? older one with still low miles £10-30k cheaper for pretty much the same car. It could be causing market uncertainty in this particular tiny area of V12 manual convertible Astons, meaning potential buyers don't know which way to jump.
Either that or it's just too bloody cold to be thinking about cars without a roof
