Just after feedback on buying from NP - they have one I'm keen on but there is a nice one also at Cambridge - I know Cambridge are great (Simon) and would feel very comfortable buying from there but not dealt with NP.
Would confidence in their prep work be high for both of them?

David87 on here - his thread is below yours- has just bought a Vantage from AMW NP. Seems to have had a very good experience.
I went there last year when I was looking. Also, a Simon there was very helpful. When i turned up he said we happen to have one of our pro drivers in - would you like to go out with him in a V12V - one hour later we were still on the test drive. I bought from another AM dealer but Simon at AMW was very helpful & its something else at AMW - with the history & restoration/heritage based there.

I used Works for everything during Aston ownership.
I would thoroughly recommend them without hesitation and Simon is a pleasure to deal with.
In addition you get a real sense of being immersed in the history of the brand by using them which cannot be replicated by other dealers no matter how good.

I bought my then one year old V8V from Works at Newport Pagnell 5 years ago, I can honestly say its the best car buying experience I've ever had (the guy then dealing was Paul Spires) They have since done all my servicing and (minor) warranty work and the customer service I have received from the team there is first class - good luck with your purchase. regards, Dave W.
Yep, as mentioned, I bought a car from Simon at AM Works over the weekend. Yet to take delivery, but I couldn't recommend them highly enough from what I have experienced so far; it blows any other car buying experience I've ever had clean out of the water! The place itself is also heaven for Aston Martin fans.
Recently disappointed with my dealings with the Sales Department TBH. Almost bought a car from him around four years ago but numbers didn't work at the time but we parted on good terms - So I thought. Decided they would be my 'go to' dealership this time after being a customer of the Service Department for around 8 years (always had EXCELLENT experience with them) and always made a point of a quick chat with Simon whenever I was there. It took FIVE days to respond to emails and voicemail enquires regarding a new car purchase. Once he did get back to me I felt it was a very take it or leave it attitude and despite claims of being a 'dream maker' there was no attempt to be a deal maker. Felt VERY let down and disappointed to be honest. I found out afterwards a friend of mine also wanted to buy a new AMR car recently and again there was NO follow up. Enquired elsewhere - though somewhat disillusioned - and had an excellent experience with Cambridge and especially Walton on Thames. The latter who actually rang me up within 5 minutes of an email enquiry and WANTED to sell me a car. My faith in the brand restored HWM got the deal and I'm currently counting down the days and weeks until arrival.
Just for clarity I'm a long standing customer of the Service Department at NP and cannot praise them enough but the attitude I recently experienced with the Sales Department will make me consider other options in the future. Maybe they are resting on their laurels a little too much.

Welcome - and sorry to hear about your experience. Have I read it right that you are getting an AMR car in the next few weeks. Apologies if I have got that wrong but if I am right what are you getting?Just for clarity I'm a long standing customer of the Service Department at NP and cannot praise them enough but the attitude I recently experienced with the Sales Department will make me consider other options in the future. Thanks !!! Long time lurker - sort of Sorry I didn't make it clear. My friend was after a V12 AMR not me.
I purchased my V12S from Simon Stanton at Works and can't fault the experience at all. From initial contact through to bringing a V12 to my home to make sure it would fit in my single garage etc Simon was great to deal with.
Extended test drives were organised, as one of the posters above said the drive with an AM pro driver was very enlightening.
The whole process was very pleasant and my dealings with the service department, Simon Voakes, over the following period have been equally impressive.
From my experience and those of other AM owners who I have spoken to who purchased from Simon you will not be sorry if you deal with Works.
Just beware it is one of the most expensive "free coffees" you will ever drink

I have just had the yearly service by AM Bristol, very easy and excellent service from picking the car up from Shaftesbury in a sealed box to informing me at all stages, lucky nothing major. The other thing I am impressed with is the tracking system I had installed, within 2 minutes of it being on the lorry I had a call from them to say it was on the move, and the same this morning, company called Global Telemetrics

Simon - did you guys win the no 1 slot for customer service in the AM network recently? Thought I saw something on fb for the AMOC region..Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
