Waiting at traffic lights on a roundabout this morning next to an artic, artic is on the passenger side, lights go green and before Mrs Mattman can move away the lorry is already turning and skimmed the side of the car as he moves off. Before she had realised the damage caused the truck has gone and we don't have any details of the driver or company. no CCTV or anything so have to suck up the insurance excess.

Hoping a couple of the marks can be polished out but from what i can see its scraped the wing mirror housing, rear door, plastic rear wheel arch, some marks just above the rear arch on the quarter panel i hope can be polished out, a scrap on the edge of the rear bumper and a scrape/chunk on the rear wheel.

Insurance have been good so far and the main thing is that no one was hurt - metal can be fixed easily.

I doubt the lorry driver would have even noticed the impact from the cab but left with a few battle scars for the repairer to sort out. All booked in, but can't be taken in until 2nd week of Feb - hopefully will be all sorted and will post up the "after" pics for anyone interested.

smile its sort of brown/white at the moment being covered in mud and salt - its not going to get cleaned until it goes for repair either - i don't want to see any more damage
