When I bought my SP10 from the Barista in 2015 I was given the mentioned envelope......and it's still sitting in a filing cabinet.......that's how interested I was in membership, even when it was free.

I wasn't however given the same envelope when I bought my V12V from the same coffee purveyor last year, so either he just forgot or the practice has stopped.

I suspect I am not a typical member on the Forum because I am lucky enough to have a car in each of the sections but I heartily endorse the comments made about what people call the "Gaydon" section. Yes, there is less to bring people in in terms of technical knowledge and posts about how to do things. Partly that is down to the fact that when cars are very new in the main people take them to the dealers. But as the DB7 section and (particularly) the Vanquish section shows once the critical mass is built up the Forum becomes invaluable.
AMOC did themselves a terrible disservice with the "new" website last year and I can't blame anyone who headed off to PH or 6Speed but the new Forum is a zillion times better and there is some banter although it tends to be in "Idling".
I am quite certain that the new Chairman will strengthen the links with AML because she knows we need to and I am also certain that she will put in place a number of changed to ensure the AMOC welcomes and embraces all new AML customers. They ARE the future of the AMOC.

At the AGM today Anne Reed was announced as new chairman by quite a large majority.
