My 2013 V8SP10 has the same issue, as did my previous 2007 V8. As mentioned, the material is there to stop the parcel shelf rubbing on the boot lid and every time the boot is closed the shelf rubs the material a little bit more, pulling it away from the glue underneath. I keep meaning to peal them off, clean the glue, re spray with contact adhesive and re apply them. But then I kept meaning to do that on the previous Vantage but never did Just one of those things I guess, like the leather strap that pulls the boot shut, nearly everyone I've seen is split (I can hear a load of boots opening to check theirs now )

Sorry to restart an old thread but my 2015 v8v 14k has exactly this issue on both sides. It is under Timeless Warranty.
What's the latest opinion on the best course of action? Has anyone simply just taken these patches off and cleaned off the adhesive? If so,any problems with the parcel shelf thereafter?Thanks all.
