A3 2.0tdi Rough Idle when moving.....

Hello, wonderful people of PH!
My car is a 192000 mile 2006 140bhp A3 2.0tdi. I have owned it for 2 months and it has been in the family from new. Mechanically it has been well looked after, properly serviced etc. It's a great car considering its age and milage, having very few problems. However;
The engine has a very rough idle to the point where it will be rocking on its mounts and almost stalling. Weirdly, when the car is stationary, this doesn't happen, only when rolling at low speeds. Any ideas what this could be? I don't want to throw money at the car as is practically worthless (the bodywork and interior are in a bad state)
