I personally find the 007 number plate combinations on an AM a tad naff , likewise the MCL combinations on McLaren’s.

But each to their own , if that’s what floats your boat fair enough.

I do like 'Cherished Registration Marks', to use the official term, but have a perchance for the dateless type.

Very few year letter/number marks look right. There are however a few which do work perfectly, e.g. COLIN, DAVID, ROBIN, CRAIG.

A Vantage looks good with a modest priced dateless plate. To the casual observer it may be a 2005 car, or perhaps a 2015 car.
