MIL light andSport Back box for V8V Manual

Hi
Had the Engine system urgent service and limp mode twice now along with the emissions message currently active
Booked in next Tues, thank god for warranty, but curious as to what could be at fault
Also please could anyone assist as I am getting confused which OE sport back box will actually fit a 2012.25 manual Vantage or am I better just doing a secondary decat?
