Hi I am looking to get my V12 vantage resprayed, not full body but pretty close. Has anyone used Aston Services London and would you recommend them? Or any other recommendation in SW London area would be welcome. Thanks in advance....

Spraytech are also pretty good. They do a huge amount of classic work (DB4/5/6). I follow them on Instagram etc and they seem properly dedicated. I'd argue if someone's trusting them with a 500K DB5, they're going to do a good job on the V12V.

Chris.

There is a place in Crawley which Paddy (our resident detailing expert) recommended - though, unhelpfully, the name escapes me for now.

I’d also suggest calling Tim @ Trinity Motors in Cobham and asking who he recommends. I’d trust his view on a quality outfit.

I think you’re referring to SL Restorations.

Call Steve Berry at Southern Classics just beside Twickenham Stadium. Top class.

I would second Steve Berry at Southern Classics. I suspect the waiting list is long but the work is second to none!

Painted a car for me in 1989. I still have it today, not a single issue with the paint in all those years

SL Restorations do a lot of work for Porsche and Romans International and their work is of very high standard.
They did a great repair on my wife's car when some idiot in a pickup with bull bars decided to side swipe it in Sainsbury's car park. Luckily all caught on CCTV as they chose not to stop.

My cars currently in for respray after paint coming off from vinyl wrap removal. Decided on bumper upgrades at the same time. Hopefully done by this weekend. Oh and it's going flugplatz blue at the same time...... let you know how it turns out. Very reasonable price too!

AV classics did my re-spray and I was very happy with the results.

They have done a lot of new era Astons.

Not meaning to sound critical but for a colour change would it not be appropriate to at least remove headlights? Or indeed the glass / trim?

Unless the job is a very reasonable price which would go up dramatically for removal of said components.

Yep, must admit I was surprised that they havent at least removed the headlights - it will be hard not to show a paint edge. Door shuts etc will also be tricky to do well. Strong colour though!
