I have two Astons and have full PPF on one and the other has full front, side sills and rear arches. They were done by two different companies so am able to compare the results. Both have good reputations but the quality of their work is light years apart.
The work done by Topaz is fantastic and have had a number of people asking me if it does actually have PPF on it. The other one you can clearly see has and, whilst it is ok, I am sorely tempted to have Topaz take it off and replace it with their product. They are more expensive than most but the quality of their work is very, very good. As Rob says don’t accept the first price quoted.
Just one thing to add if you go for PPF the paintwork needs to be perfect otherwise I wouldn’t bother as you will see the faults through it. Even on a new car they paint correct the car before the film is fitted. If it has any stone chips they will show!

Thanks for all of the advice and input - it's really helped me decide which way to go on things! Appreciate the balance of experience and I should say publicly that nobody in Simon's team was in any way pushy with products, only offering them for me to consider. I have to admit my experience with the whole Aston Martin team at AM Cambridge has been totally superb from the first phone call, Simon you should be very proud of the team you have - they are at the complete opposite end of the spectrum to the team at the dealer closest to me!
