It's a nice looking beast
I have to add the DB11 Volante IMO is as good looking as any previous gen convertibles
Agree, I think the DB11 Volante is stunning and prefer it to the Coupe. You cannot say that about many cars. Can’t wait to see the DBS Volante when it comes out. That may cause a bit of a dilemma I have to add the DB11 Volante IMO is as good looking as any previous gen convertibles
Surprised there are not more threads about this actually. A friend is hopefully collecting his from Aston in London this week, can't wait to see it. It genuinely looks half way to a One-77 in my eyes, perfect balance between elegance and mean stance. Anyone taken a delivery of their's yet? Would love to see some more in the flesh pics.
Overhere in NL currently are 2 (dealer) cars. Delivery of customer cars will follow this/next month.
Test drove one, see review here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Test drove the new DBS this week. It’s a proper Aston. Understated luxury with plenty of torque and muscle. Suspension is easily the best i have experienced in a modern Aston. The different settings enables the car to be firm yet absorbing undulations in the road perfectly. Steering is perfectly weighted (not as light as an F12) and the noise is great yet not intrusive. Proper GT car. I’m 6:3 and seating position and visibility is perfect. Seats are supportive - but not overly so you can easily spend time cruising for long stretches. Torque is the most impressive thing of this car. The downsides: The cabin is rather normal and does not live up to the billing of a > 200k car. Electronics and infotainment is nice but not groundbreaking. Lack of adaptive cruise-control is a real let down for a car that is meant to be a Continental cruiser. I make a lot of mileage and use my adaptive cruise control in my RR all the time. Gearbox has been mentioned. Its rather lazy and not as “in your face” as a modern double clutch gearbox. So all in all a superb car with the shortcomings in terms of technology that we have been getting used to buying modern Astons.

I think Harry has been a little harsh, only +2.5C and wet road surface, not ideal conditions for traction. Shmee was more circumspect in the wet at Dunsfold. Having said that, at 664 ft/lbs and rear wheel drive, anything other than bone dry will require some caution with the loud pedal.Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
