Got to throw my hat in the ring on this .
Not keen on seeing AM cars with OO 07 *** number plates , some of the V12 *** leave a lot to be desired as well , same goes for McLaren cars with MCL plates , just think they cheapen the car .
A traditional “ private plate “ is fine though.
I used to hate private plates. But when I bought my DB9 some years ago it just didn’t look right on a full 7 digit number (CU58 something from memory). I don’t know why. So I bought a private plate. Now I just see them as a bit of fun. Albeit I’m not sure I would be bold enough to put a 007 plate on, would be hugely disappointing for passers by to see that plate and then me getting out of the car (looking far from Bond-like)

my name is Stephen Way and I have S007WAY on my V12V
I am sorry to say that I read that as 'Soot Way' as in, well, you know, back passages etc.......It wouldn't look completely out of place on a chimney sweeps van though.

HR Owen had (May still do) a v12vsm with VA11TGE which looked really good on the car. I have 97RS on one and VV12 SVV on another. Never had an issue with plates, I even saw 007 on a Guernsey DB9 last year, plate must be worth more than the car!
