Wasn't there a thread on here about owners showing the garage set ups etc .
I'm looking at building my next one and fancied a car lift or other toys and was looking for some pointers, for kit and dimensions etc

Thanks, guys exactly what I was looking for.
I have a family member that wants to play with his AutoCAD and design me a new garage. My other half is an artist and I wanted to fit something like a studio loft in it for her aswell, so trying to look at heights for the carlift or its easier to build a double like dive the worlds, Some lovely mansheds out there. Thanks again.

More traditional as I live in the country. Haven't finished the floors or outside groundwork yet.

Some enviable man caves!

What’s the feeling re heating. Underfloor heating feels over kill? Just rads and excellent insulation good enough?

Big air-con heat pump unit. Good in summer, excellent heat in winter.

Thanks- that’s much easier solution! Do you happen to have a recommendation or mind sharing any known solutions. I know they’ll be a few free standing options but I imagine there must be some options that are integrated into/ mounted onto the wall.

Thanks

Any 12kw or bigger will do. Get a plug’n play quick connect like ElectriQ or a professional fit system.
I’ve done both and had no problem. Bear in mind quick-fit and quick-connect are very different.
See quick connect on this. https://www.appliancesdirect.co.uk/p/eiq-12wminvqc...

If you look on the adobe link on my first post in this thread, there’s a pic of it in the showroom side.

I don’t have these insulated. It doesn’t get that cold where I am. I have two Alfa Romeos in those garages. The Aston lives in an adjacent heated garage - or it will do in about two months when it’s finished!

Not sure this has been mentioned yet but probably wise to remove all embedded GPS data tags from these photos before posting otherwise it could become an organised shopping list for car thieves.

Fair point but why go to the trouble of stealing an Aston, which I imagine is actually quite hard to move on, rather than one of a billion Range Rovers, X5s etc. etc.?

Honestly don’t know what cars are targeted these days but always better safe than sorry when posting photos of the home location of cars to make sure the GPS tags are removed.

I can’t check from my phone but maybe they are by default in the upload process in which case nothing to worry about.

This looks perfect! Might I inquire who built this for you or if it's a prefab or system thing (which I do not imagine it is) who manufactures it?

Here's the garage. Think I posted this on the old thread. The Stag has gone now. Need to take a new pic with the Bentley Turbo included in the fleet. Let's just say there is no more room at the inn...
