A used Vanquish tepresents very good value for money.
I personally think they look better than the new DBS Superleggera and last of the NA V12.
What's not to like?
Yep definitely the pick of the range if you want an AM at the moment I would say.

Last week I was down at AM Bristol to collect my Vantage following a bonnet catch failure and paint work (both carried out under warranty brilliantly, including an all-over polish clap ) and obviously had to nosey around.

One AM stood out a mile for me... a glorious 2014 Vanquish Volante in rare Apple (Tree?) Green. Stunning and probably the classiest modern AM I have ever seen:

Whoever originally spec’d that had a huge amount of taste!

Sadly my wife loves the Vantage too much, and I have to admit the Volante was more of a cruiser than the sports car I originally fell for. But I still have second thoughts about the switch biggrin

I hate you now...

This was the color I was looking for to no avail, for more than a year. Finally had to settle for a very nice Midnight Blue instead. Posting this photo just brings back all the frustration. Thanks again...frown

I'm confused. Are you bored with the car you bought in August already?

Sod’s law in action tongue out

Yep... always the case. I had been looking for a Vantage spec with lightweight seats + B&O + non-monochrome colour scheme but gave up. But waiting for this green spec would be a very long thing normally. Very rare! Saw a Vantage in it once and had to find out what the colour was as it suits an AM soooo well. And I don’t normally like green.

Cheers for that. Think I’ll stick to my CCC remote as I can’t think of a time I’d want the valves permanently closed!
That’s always been my view... during the loading of clutch software my Ecu threw a serious fit. It was located and the culprit was in something the ccc remote was doing (not necessarily the unit but could have been how wired)?

The switch operates the same just can’t carry a fob around. The install is invisible. I will be getting the DRL wiring loom from Clive soon.

I'm off to the Ring with a pal in my V12S on the 29th but we are heading to Stuttgart and then the Black forest for a couple of nights before returning back to the UK...any roads/place of interest you would recommend in the Black forest as we aim to have full day driving around on Oct 4th cheers!
Have you decided where you are going to stay in the Black Forest? I am in Freiburg.

The roads around here are amazing. When it's been sunny, most days I have been out on my bike. You have to do the Schauinsland... Kandel... Sankt Peter... I would be happy to help you throw a route together.

Went to the factory and amongst other things saw the new Vantage Volante. Very pretty car looked really good and imagine will tease away people from other manufacturers and indeed the coupe.
Hood up and down very quick , decent boot space.

Had to spend the day at home for a variety of reasons and the weather was somewhat showery. What better opportunity to get the wheels off and give them - and the wheel arches and brake callipers - a damn good clean.

Having never done this on the Vantage before, 2 things struck me: firstly, not only are the front CCB rotors big in diameter, they are really thick as well (and the ducting clearly works after cleaning dead flies off the inside of the front wheel rims!!); and, secondly, the rear tyres are soooooo wide. Altogether, awesome!

Some pictures for those interested:

Opportunity to introduce a more traditional grille option, as expected?
