I ve PPF d three of the cars headlights. Definitely worth doing and fairly low cost.
Your vantage has more than two headlights

RS4 and 911 PPF’d. Dailies are treated as such, so no PPF applied.

I've PPFd three of the car's headlights = I have one car and it has more than three headlights.
I've PPFd three of the cars' headlights = I have at least four cars and have PPFd all the headlights on three of them.
As you were, carry on

Foraged around under the wheel arch of my 2012 V12 Vantage, removed the air box for the second time this year (the first time was to facilitate removal of the headlight), repaired the damage to it that I did the first time (broke the front mounting, which I didn’t realised was there) using a plastic welder - a great tool, as none of the glues I tried worked - and put it all back together properly (which I didn’t do first time due to muppetry on my part). A quick wash and took it for a short run, to make sure everything was dry and working.

just had PPF fitted to my windscreen
I ve only just come across this in the last couple of months. How does it fair over time with wiper drag?
I assume you can t use a brass screen scraper in freezing weather?
The normal advice is not to use a ceramic coat on your windscreen but is that then an option to help the rain bead off and not need the wipers much?
My car lives in a heated garage and has not been exposed to freezing weather, but I'd not recommend using a sharp edged scraper on the windscreen if its got PPF on it ! i'm sure you can work out what would happen if you did.

I dont ceramic coat the PPF so thats not a problem for me. You can use rainX on top of PPF, and this means the rain water doesnt sit on the screen surface. I do tend to keep my car very clean too, so its pretty much always clean enough for any water to 'bead' and run off quickly.
One odd thing about a Vanquish 2 is that the part of the boot where you keep all the gubbins like Tyreweld, towing eye etc is left exposed, and it looks ugly.
So today I made a cardboard template for a panel to cover it, and cut it out from ally sheet. Next step will be to find a carpet offcut and fit the gadget in place.
One observation about the boot lid - if you leave it open for some time, it won't lock when you close it, but goes into the 'semi-shut' position and won't lock properly or open. So you press 'unlock' on the fob - the boot locks but the doors unlock... doh.

Got a pair of sun visors came from a 2012 Rapide and fitted them to my 2005 DB9.
I had to swap the fixing brackets over as the 2012 brackets are a slightly different size, but the visors themselves are a perfect fit. See the picture from the passenger side of my car.
It's the little things (like having a cover over a mirror) but it just makes the car feel more "finished"!
