Fitted new Michellin MP4SS's to the car, transformed the squirrelly handling (bye bye Pirellis).

Went to the seaside to celebrate.
what colour is this? looks great!
Scintilla silver (sorry it spelt wrong).

I try really hard every time I buy a car to buy a colourful one and always end up in grey or black or dark blue. This one is very sparkly though and I think really suits the car.

PS if someone else points out this badge is not 100% perfectly aligned as well I will have to sell the car ;-)

Sorry - I couldn't live with that...

It's like a supermodel wife with a wart right on the tip of her nose

With a hair growing out of it....

Bought a DBS manual... for the third time! I've learned my lesson now -- whatever else I try, this is my one true love. This one's a keeper to fully restore, although its in very good nick -- will start with new gear knob and steering wheel rim. It's true Bond spec (casino with manual and 2+0), of which there are apparently only 78 RHD made -- and was the original dealer demonstrator which I first drove for a weekend in August 2008.

I have a set of the Union Jack badges to fit. The pressure to align them perfectly is almost too much!

Should look great against the silver.

Outstanding. I am looking for one as a keeper also. For me the best looking AM ever.

Ditto. Quick squirt of anti-rust gunk then fitted the covers. Two needed some filing to fit, one needed a couple of layers of insulating tape to thicken it up before it fitted perfectly. Big improvement.

Scintilla is epic, IMHO its hands down the nicest silver ever, not just on an Aston, but by any car manufacturer ever. I am biased of course having now got one in the stable. smile

Dont worry about the badge - that happens on a lot of them from the factory, it's actually a 20 min job to remove and refit it centrally. I think there has been another thread in the last week about removing and refitting the bonnet badge.

Some amazing pics on this thread, but I have to say yours are always on a different level!

I wish I could take such amazing pics on my cars. A true talent in both photography and taste in cars!

@Phumy - stunning - what colour is this please?

I collected mine from storage after 3 months -just been serviced by HWM and a BR manifold setup installed.

Much more testing needing but it makes a lovely noise - shove is prodigious (it was before) and more care needed when applying throttle, especially in sport mode.
