Just a suggestion but have you considered joining SCD (Supercar Driver). I joined at the beginning of the year and it's been great. Loads of events - Drives, Track days, Meets etc., really well organised, nice variety of cars and owners. Really good if you like driving your car rather than just looking at it in a field but I think they do some of those events too.
Great idea Pete but I’m afraid my lowly 4.3 Vantage doesn’t qualify for membership...

Well my V8VS doesn't officially qualify either but the "list" is not absolute and I see plenty of cars at events that are not on the list. If you're keen I would suggest dropping Matt Parker, the Membership Manager, an email and see what he says. Does your car have any performance enhancing mods as I think this may be taken into account?

Hi Pete, my Vantage is completely standard so I think I’m not in the same league... my TVR on the other hand is highly modified and quicker than many of the ‘super cars’ listed. TVR though is also not listed, so I think I’ll have to give this rather elite club a miss.
Cheers,
Richard.

There you go. Just drop them a line and I'm sure you'll be fine. Also, elitism is the last impression I get at SCD meets. Very welcoming and inclusive.

Another lowly V8V 'Classic' SCD member here, although the rules are slightly different if you are a renewing member as apposed to a new member. wink
Would echo the complete lack of 'Elitism' from most of the membership, but it is quite regional, they have tried to branch out 'down south' but the events don't seem to attract the same numbers as the Midlands/Yorkshire ones, so I'd look at where you are in the country in relation to the type of events you prefer. driving

Congratulations David. Looks like the final result was worth the somewhat painful journey. Is it Morning Frost or another of the whites?

That is achingly gorgeous. Stratus White is a very under-rated colour, especially paired with lots of carbon. Well done and congratulations. I do keep finding myself looking at these, and you're not helping matters.

I ordered a set of PS4Ss and booked in for a 4-wheel alignment at Elite in Rainham today, which should mean that I'll be keeping my (Stratus White) V12VS for at least another few thousand miles.

Looks very nice nearly as good as my carbon black one, thanks for the advice given.

Now has all new non leaking dampers, new springs and a none leaking engine timing cover courtesy of the supplying dealer.

That is looking really sharp Dave, glad your story ended well too.
