Chaps - are anything like these deals being offered on DB11s?
There was a cheap monthly offer on the DB11 mention on here recently.
One customer became rather upset and decided to involve a newspaper.

Whether such offers are still available I dont know.

Translates to a total cost to own a £151k Aston Vantage for £26400 + £89000 = £115400...What a remarkable deal..!
No intention on handing back.So £1050 x 24 months = £25,200 total cost of ownership for 2 years.
First service is included as has 5 year service pack but I do have to pay for year 2 RFL.
Great deal, now two left!
Both 911's I've had have done it. People refer to it as "driving on acorns". I believe its a combination of front suspension geometry and wide low profile tyres and is the car 'skipping' on the tyre blocks when you have a lot of steering lock at low speeds. It is always more obvious in the cold. Nothing to worry about at all!
Back to Vantages. There are definitely some sharp deals to be had, but mainly on 2019.5 MY cars that have been around a while. I've been quoted a couple but the specs haven't been right for me.
On that subject, what do people think of Divine Red? Has anyone got one in that colour? I cant decide if its too dark/plain or if actually it is understated, 'coiled' and moody!

From my experience with Porsche’s its modern tyres when it gets cold....my cars don’t do it in the summer and do it when it starts getting cold. On our 4x4’s it disappears when we put the winter tyres on.
If you’re running something like a Aston the cost of putting some winter tyres on it is absolutely negligible....the only real cost is the cost of getting the tyres changed over. All it means is that you’re running two sets of tyres at the same time so you’ve got a £1000 extra “invested” in tyres but it means your summer tyres last longer obviously.
The big thing I notice with winter vs summer tyres apart from the obvious of snow is braking int he wet....it’s noticeably better which is something not to be sniffed at.

Hi everyone - looking forward to picking up my Vantage later this month.
A question - I didn;t think to listen to the standard audio stereo when test driving and ordered with just the standard option.
What is the general consensus on the standard audio? Is it sufficient? Just bit worried I maybe should have looked for an upgrade.
Can't find any details on spec of standard audio on a 2019 model Vantage.

I can only comment on the previous model Vantage, where the additional cost option audio (called Premium, an Alpine 700 watt system) was very highly regarded, in comparison with the standard 160 watt audio. A ploy probably for customers to spend more, but the Premium is good, and consequently an option often on used buyers wanted lists.
If the situation is similar now, it might therefore be worth having the upgrade.
It appears that the Vantage offer has been sufficiently successful to clear out Stratstone Western Avenue. They have sold 35 cars in the last few weeks, none left to offer.
I had to call around for stock. Found an Ultramarine Black( v dark blue) car at Grange, the spec was exactly how I would have speced the car, list £145,000, Grange pay £105,000 for the car, PCP deal & £1029 per month, residual value of circa £90,000.
Hard to resist!

Don’t think the outright buy option is available, just the 2 year PCP deal with the ability to walk away after 2 years if you don’t want the car.
You are basically buying a £145,000 car with a guaranteed buy back at £120,000 after 2 years, total cost of £25,000, with free servicing and warranty.

Wow. Feels almost negligent NOT to get involved at these prices...You are basically buying a £145,000 car with a guaranteed buy back at £120,000 after 2 years, total cost of £25,000, with free servicing and warranty.
